Enhancing Emergency Response Capabilities: Security and Responsibility in Action
Safety is the cornerstone of business development; responsibility is the bottom line that employees safeguard. To enhance the emergency response capabilities for sudden fires, HBS recently conducted a fire safety emergency evacuation drill.   On the day of the drill, when the fire alarm sounded, all employees evacuated along the predetermined route, walking close to the walls towards the safety zone in the parking lot, remembering 'no pushing, no panic, follow instructions'. Once the employees were orderly lined up, the safety drill officially commenced. The first demonstration was the proper use of a dry powder fire extinguisher:   Lift: Grip the handle of the fire extinguisher with your right hand, support the base with your left hand, lift the extinguisher, check if the pressure gauge needle is in the green zone (indicating normal operation), and shake it up and down to loosen the powder.   Pull: Stand 2-3 meters away from the fire source and pull out the safety pin.   Aim: Grip the nozzle with your right hand, stabilize with your left hand, aim the nozzle at the base of the flames.   Press: Press down the lever firmly, keep the nozzle aimed at the base of the flames, sway left and right to spray, cover the burning area until the flames are extinguished.   Faced with the simulated fire source, the employees remained calm, correctly used the fire extinguisher to release white powder, and extinguished the flames instantly. They then demonstrated the procedures for handling a waste water leak and how to use a fire hydrant.   Although the drill has concluded, safety never stops! This event not only enhanced the emergency response capabilities of all staff but also deeply instilled fire safety awareness. Moving forward, HBS will continue to promote safety production work with standards of realistic practice and normalization, ensuring that the safety defenses remain strong and vigilant.
